Bounds shared by all origins in a :ref:`Pool <doxid-class_e_e_1_1_network_1_1_http_1_1_pool>`, within the process-wide :ref:`setMaxOpenConnections() <doxid-class_e_e_1_1_network_1_1_http_1abe520ec822bb69c2726a060bc30fa2d5>` limit. HTTP/1 requests exclusively lease a connection; requests beyond a limit wait in arrival order per origin. Idle connections are closed by a timer once idleTimeout elapses; clear() closes them immediately.
